Description
As a Senior developer you will be working across multiple tech-driven projects to deliver front-end web technology solutions. With a mix of hands on delivery, technical leadership and day to day support activity. You will own a set of core frontend components and will be responsible for system deployment and upgrades for various size and complexity. You will be working in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment with peers and management teams within IS & Change.

You will be utilising your practical experience to own and implement best practice in support of project delivery. You will need significant experience of programming in HTML, Java Script, CSS, React and a variety of web development tools as well as exposure to delivery methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. You’ll join a culture of quality, collaboration and will have the opportunity to work closely with the Product team to drive improvements wherever possible and design cutting-edge UI components. Experience of integration and use of backend web technologies such as .Net Core, RESTful Web APIs would be a distinct advantage.

*Please note: RSA is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures, and a combination of work from home and at our Horsham office when it becomes safe to work in offices. Until then it will be 100% work from home.

Key Requirements

  • You are a web development expert, and have good knowledge of backend technologies ASP.NET, C# and got good knowledge of frontend frameworks like ReactJS, Typescript
  • You have worked on building REST APIs and web applications
  • You are aware of and have implemented industry standards and best practices around the technologies mentioned above
  • You understand the complexities of the DOM and CSS, and specifically how they interact
  • You have a good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like OOP, WebAPI and commonly used design patterns in web development
  • You have strong knowledge of unit testing techniques using frameworks such as Nunit, Xunit, Jest
  • You have experience using CI, CD tools such as TFS and source control such as GIT
  • You have experience of working with code review tools such as SonarQube
  • You’re a proactive communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
  • You should be able to mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
